Abstract
The current investigation compares the effect of fumaric acid therapy with the autohomologous
immune therapy in psoriasis patients. A total of 69 patients were treated.34
which were female with an average age of 37,4 years
and 35 male with an average age of 40,8 years. 28 patients were treated with
fumaric acid and 41 with the autohomologous immune therapy. The control
parameter of the two patient groups included the initial extent of psoriasis
lesions with those remaining after completion of therapy. Both groups were
subjected to a specific diet which was thereafter found to offer en excellent
base diet. Results illustrated that patients treated with fumaric acid were 90%
free of their psoriasis lesions within the time frame of this study. The group
of AHIT-treated patients was significantly larger and showed a 60% loss of
their psoriasis lesions.
